In 2023, we talked to you about the edition of the Grand Prix of the Vivier de Formula Marbles organized on the beach of Trouville-sur-Mer. You can find this article here: The marbles are at the beach.

Unfortunately, at My-glassMarbles, we missed the new edition of April 20, 2024. Why? Let's just say we were too busy counting our marbles :)

But better late than never, so here is our recap of this exceptional event on May 21, 2024.

Responsive media

Here are some media outlets that covered the event faster than us:

Pays d'Auge News

Actu Pays d'auge published an article titled "Trouville-sur-Mer: 24 years later, the passion for the 24 Hours of Automobiles has not aged a bit." You can read the full article here.

Journalist Marie-Madeleine Remoleur interviews Alexandre Daunis, who took part in the 2000 edition when he was 16 years old. He declared: “The 24 Hours Automobilles is a story of collective passion. From the 63 drivers to the crowd gathered around the 130 meters of track, including the joyful team of volunteers, the fervor remained the same.”

This article explains that this event is a takeover idea from Thierry Lacheray who declared to the journalist from Ouest France: “We talked about it again at every family reunion. I never stopped playing marbles. I continued with my children.”
